Find Out More About Our Approach

Garfield Street Childcare Centre has been owned and operated continuously since 1994.

Our centre features large indoor and outdoor play areas designed to support exploration, creativity, and active learning in a safe and caring environment.

We use EarlyWorks and Smart Central to share daily updates, learning observations, developmental records, routines, meals, and important notices with families. Parents also have access to policies and procedures through these systems.

Families receive regular updates about meals, sleep, routines, activities, and learning experiences through EarlyWorks notifications and communications from educators.

Families should provide:

  • Spare clothes
  • A blanket for rest time (if required)
  • Nappies for children over 2 years of age

Meals are provided, so food from home is generally not required.

Fees are still payable during absences due to illness or holidays. If your child will be absent, please contact the centre. Extended absences may be discussed with management.

Children must be collected by 6:00pm. A late fee of $20 applies for each additional 10-minute period after closing time.

The first step is to contact us to arrange a visit to the Centre. See our Enrolment page for more information.

We follow NSW Health guidelines for infectious diseases and exclusion periods. Immunisation records are required for all enrolled children, and medication procedures are carefully managed by staff.

Start your child’s journey with us and experience learning through fun and connection.
